Why are rainforests so important?
We have rainforests to thank for:
The air we breathe
Fertile soil for farming
Controlling flooding and erosion
Incredible natural beauty
The most diverse ecosystems on the planet
Unfortunately, we’ve been using the planet’s rainforest’s natural resources faster than the earth can restore them, pushing our planet into rainforest-bankruptcy at a dizzying speed. If we keep going down this path, only 10% of our rainforests might be left by 2030.
We are passionate about growth:

What to do?
SignRequest has always been the green choice. From the very start, we have fought paper waste and promoted paperless work. But if you believe that saving paper is not enough, we could not agree more.
We now plant 1 tree for every new paid license. Bringing the planet back to life one seedling at a time.
That means: one tree for each Professional or Business account and for each new team member added.
Give back: plant a tree, save a life
How are we doing this?
We have partnered up with Eden Projects. This inspiring organization employs impoverished communities to become agents of global forest restoration. Eden Projects follow a holistic method by bringing together the people and nature that need each other the most, resulting in an enormous positive impact.
Where is this happening?
Eden Projects are active in Nepal, Madagascar, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique, and Kenya. Because every forest is different, every approach is slightly different as well. Native tree species are planted by local communities. To date, Eden Projects have planted over 250 million trees.

SignRequest supports the paperless movement and cares about the environment. We want to help the world grow. Instead of wasting time on tedious paperwork, we let you focus on growing your business and developing new skills. You do the growth, we do the signing.
What better supports this vision than planting trees? Support the (re)growth of forests and provide a stable income for local communities.
The destruction of healthy forest systems causes so many different problems. Trees provide a habitat for animals, purify water sources, control flooding and erosion and help to replenish the soil with nutrients needed for farming. When farmers can’t grow anything their farms fail and they have no choice but to move to the overcrowded cities looking for work. Often they have to resort to selling themselves or their families into slavery just to survive.
How do you verify where the money goes?
Eden Projects is a well-established and verified non-profit organization. We have signed an agreement with them that guarantees us that the money we donate is used to support reforestation. With Google Maps we can follow the impact our donations have made.
Does this have an effect on my invoice?
No! As a company, we choose to contribute to Eden Projects because we support and believe in the cause. It will not cost any of our users any extra money. The donation is on us.
Eden is operating out of Australia. They facilitate projects all over the world, with a strong focus on Africa and Asia. Some examples of countries are:
• Madagascar, where only 10% of the original forests are still intact
• Nepal, where the percentage of the population living below the poverty line is approximately 25%, 70% of whom are estimated to be forest-dependent
• Indonesia, where 40% of the mangrove forests have been destroyed in the past 30 years
